PMMAI and Messe Düsseldorf Enters Strategic Partnership for PLASTFOCUS
Delhi, 23 September 2026: The Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association of India (PMMAI) and Messe Düsseldorf India entered a strategic collaboration for the future development of PLASTFOCUS, envisaging co-ownership and joint further development of the PLASTFOCUS brand.
The proposed collaboration brings together PMMAI’s strong connect with the Indian plastics machinery industry and Messe Düsseldorf’s internationally recognised exhibition expertise and global network. Together, the organisations aim to expand PLASTFOCUS’ international reach, attract wider global participation, showcase leading technologies and create greater value for exhibitors, visitors and the plastics industry.
The collaboration is also expected to create greater opportunities for Indian plastics machinery manufacturers to connect with global markets, customers, technology providers and industry stakeholders. The next edition of PLASTFOCUS will be held from 23–26 June 2027 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, India.
Mr. Tushar Parikh, President, PMMAI and Managing Director, Neoplast Engineering Private Limited, said, “PLASTFOCUS has established itself as an important platform for India’s plastics industry. Our partnership with Messe Düsseldorf India takes it to the next level, creating a stronger international platform for Indian manufacturers to connect with global markets, technologies and business opportunities. Together, we want PLASTFOCUS to reflect the scale, capabilities and growing global ambitions of India’s plastics processing and allied machinery industry.”
Highlighting the opportunity for Indian machinery manufacturers, Mr. Sunil Jain, Honorary Treasurer, PMMAI and Director, Rajoo Engineers Ltd., said, “Indian machinery manufacturers have proven that they can match global standards in technology, quality and innovation. What is needed now is greater international visibility and stronger market access. Through this partnership and the K Alliance network, PLASTFOCUS will become a powerful platform to connect Indian manufacturers with global customers and opportunities. This is a milestone not just for PMMAI, but for the growth of the entire Indian plastics machinery industry.”
Mr. Marius Berlemann, Chief Operating Officer, Messe Düsseldorf, said, “India is one of the most important future markets for the plastics industry. By integrating PLASTFOCUS into the K Alliance, we will be creating a strong platform for our customers in a highly dynamic environment and are further expanding K’s global reach.”
